OFFICIAL Bishop Jaime Soto, in con-sultation with the Priest Personnel Board, has made the following canonical appointments. Effective March 16, 2011 Rev. Pius Amah, was appointed parochial vicar pro tem of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Sacramento. Rev. Richard M. Boyle, OSM, having been granted permission by his religious superior, was appointed parochial vicar pro tem of St. James Parish, Davis. Effective April 25, 2011 Rev. Cormac R. Lacre, previously parochial vicar of St. Isidore Parish, Yuba City, was appointed parochial administrator pro tem of Immacu-late Conception Parish, Corning. Effective May 3, 2011 Rev. Arlon vergara, OSA, newly arrived, was appointed parochial vicar of St. Isidore Parish, Yuba City. Effective June 16, 2011 Rev. vincent R. Juan, having returned from his studies at the Catholic University of America, Washington D.C., is appointed judge and defender of the bond of the diocese. Father Juan will reside at Sacred Heart Parish, Sacra-mento. Effective June 30, 2011 Rev. Martin J. Moroney, pastor of St. John Vianney Parish, Rancho Cordova, has been granted his request to retire from active priestly ministry and has been named pas-tor emeritus of St. John Vianney Parish, Rancho Cordova. Rev. Kieran M. McMahon, pastor of St. Robert Parish, Sacramento, has been granted his request to re-tire from active priestly ministry and has been named pastor emeritus of St. Robert Parish, Sacramento. Effective July 1, 2011 Rev. Cesar R. Ageas, currently half-time parochial vicar of Holy Family Parish, Citrus Heights, and half-time judge and defender of the bond of the diocesan Tribunal, is appointed full-time adjutant judicial vicar of the diocese. Father Ageas will continue to reside at Holy Fam-ily Parish, Citrus Heights. Rev. Jose J. Beltrán, newly or-dained to the priesthood on June 4, 2011, is appointed parochial vicar of St. Joseph Parish, Vacaville. Rev. Walter (Wladyslaw) Borkowski, currently parochial vicar of All Hallows Pairsh, Sacra-mento, is appointed parochial vicar of St. Basil Parish, Vallejo. Rev. Avram E.
